The late Dame Ngaio Marsh was a best selling author known as one of the Queens of Crime alongside Christie, Sayers and Allingham. As a finalist in the 2024 Ngaio Marsh Book Awards I was offered the chance for a tour of the home outside normal opening hours. The house is run by a charitable trust, staffed entirely by volunteers. I love this house and here's a few photos from the tour. The logo for the Ngaio Marsh Awards features a lady wearing a beret , so I felt I had to wear one and was so pleased to see a collection of the Dames berets on display.
