Praise from a Teacher for "Nikolai's Quest"

It was great to get this review from a teacher who has read the novel. I have xxx'd out the plot spoilers and the name of the school where the teacher works.

I very much enjoyed the varying relationships portrayed.

The big brother little sister relationship was very close and because of the context and orphanage environment, particularly so. I liked that the sister was xxx

As an adult reading, it was tough that these children had had such poor experience of adults in such a short life and this became more so as the plot thickened.

The story kept me interested throughout and I was mystified as to why xxx. Matron's involvement and the Director's stance also kept me curious.
